Keeping Volunteers Informed
The UT ALERT emergency messaging service is designed to enhance and improve communication and keep students, faculty, and staff informed during an emergency on our campus.
The service will only be used for emergency contact purposes. It will not be used to distribute advertising or other unsolicited content. Subscribers do not pay a fee for the service other than regular fees associated with text messaging services.
Visitors to campus can sign up to receive text alerts by texting the keyword VisitorsUTAlert to 67283. This registration will last for 30 days or you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to the confirmation text.
Confirm Your Mobile Number For UT ALERT
All you need are:
- Your UT NetID and password. (What’s my NetID?)
- The number of the mobile device that will receive the text messages.
After confirming, you can log in at any time to update your information.
Log in to the UT ALERT service using your NetID and password.
You can opt out of receiving UT Alert text messages at any time by texting the word “STOP” to 226787 or 67283 or 78015 or 81437 or 77295 or 22911. You may also log in to your account and opt out by deleting your mobile phone information.
