Faculty should conduct classes virtually.
All employees who are able to work remotely should do so again tomorrow. Employees who are part of ongoing operations should consult their supervisors if they are unsure of their schedules. Hourly employees who are not part of ongoing operations should contact their supervisor for guidance.
In the event of a closure or delay because of weather, the university will notify the campus community via UT Alert and official UT social media accounts. The university’s inclement weather procedure can be found on the public safety website.
Adjusted Operating Hours/Locations:
Parking & Transportation- Some roadways may be impacted more than others on Monday, February 2. Routes will be available based on road conditions.
The following routes will be available beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2:
- Access Service
- Neyland Express
- Cross Campus
Evening schedule: Regular operations will resume at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2.
Vol Dining– There will be dining options available for students across campus, and some hours of operation may change. Please check dining.utk.edu for dining options.
Student Union- The Student Union will close at 10 p.m. on Sunday, February 1. It will be open from 10 a.m.- 10 p.m. on Monday, February 2.
RecSports- RecSports and the Student Aquatics Center will close at 6 p.m. on Sunday, February. 1. They will be open from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Monday, February 2.
Libraries- Hodges Library will close at 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 1. Online chat assistance is available until 8 p.m. at lib.utk.edu. Devine and Pendergrass will remain closed.

Student Health Center- If medically appropriate, telehealth appointments are available on Monday, February 2, for any student who already has an appointment scheduled. The Nurse Triage Line can be reached 24 hours a day at 865-974-5080. The Pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Student Counseling Center- Student Counseling Center will operate remotely/virtually on Monday, February 2. Scheduled triage appointments are cancelled and will be rescheduled. Most therapy appointments will be moved to telehealth. Please check your email and text messages for appointment specific updates.
