Multiple motor vehicle thefts on and around the UT campus have been reported in parking areas since the beginning of the fall semester. Additionally, vehicle burglaries have been reported and remain an issue for our community.<\/p>\n

The UT Police Department would like to offer these tips to help prevent vehicle thefts and burglaries:<\/p>\n

-Lock your car<\/p>\n

-Take your keys with you<\/p>\n

-Close and lock all windows and doors when you park<\/p>\n

-Never leave your vehicle while it is running<\/p>\n

-Remove or hide all valuables from plain view<\/p>\n
