Approval Form"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Please read and acknowledge the following<\/h2>\n<p><strong>UAS Approval Form<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please read and acknowledge the following<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The UAS will not be operated:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a manner that violates UT System policy, including without limitation, violating federal, state, or local laws or regulations.<\/li>\n<li>TCA 39-13-903 prohibits UAS operations to intentionally capture images or drop any substance for open-air ticketed events of more than 100 people gathered without the venue operator\u2019s approval.<\/li>\n<li>Inside University buildings or facilities unless specifically authorized by the UAS coordinator.<\/li>\n<li>In violation of an FAA Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR), normally associated with a large campus event.<\/li>\n<li>In a manner that substantially disrupts or interferes with University operations, events, or activities.<\/li>\n<li>In a manner or in a place that unreasonably threatens the health or safety of another person.<\/li>\n<li>In a manner that monitors or records an area where a person has a reasonable expectation of privacy.<\/li>\n<li>In a manner or in a place that unreasonably threatens damage to University property.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All UAS devices:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must give way to manned aircraft at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Must not be flown above the approved FAA altitude as provided by the Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC).<\/li>\n<li>If there is a risk of flying over people, pilot must abide by FAA categorical operations.<\/li>\n<li>Must be operated in the line of sight and with visible lights (for 3 nautical miles) at night.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By proceeding to the UAS Flight Request Form you are acknowledging that you have read, understand, and agree to follow the <a href=\"https:\/\/policy.tennessee.edu\/policy\/fi0137-unmanned-aircraft-systems-drones\/\">UT System Unmanned Aircraft Systems Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a
