Chemicals & Hazardous Materials

If you work in an area that contains chemical, biological, radiological, or other hazardous materials, it is important that you familiarize yourself with the processes and requirements involved in handling these substances. You also should be trained in your department’s chemical hygiene plan and the relevant Material Safety Data sheets.

If you have questions or are not comfortable with your safety as it relates to chemicals or hazardous materials, contact your immediate supervisor or the Office of Environmental Health and Safety at 974-5084.
