UT sends team to FEMA training

Members of the campus emergency response team travelled to the UT Chattanooga campus for a FEMA sponsored course on Multi-Hazard Emergency Planning for Higher Education.  The workshop provided training on hazard assessment, the Incident Command System, emergency operations plans, training, community engagement and included several table top exercises.  The multi-disciplinary team learned valuable skills and strategies to improve campus emergency preparedness and will help integrate departmental contributions to the overall emergency management effort.  Team members pictured below:
